Solution

Shifted strategy from passive follow-ups to proactive technical engagement. Offered direct engineer-to-engineer communication to clarify specific drawing challenges, while simultaneously offering free samples for three specific part numbers to lower the barrier for physical validation alongside the drawing review.

Result

Maintained the project pipeline and demonstrated commitment to technical resolution, preserving the opportunity for the high-volume annual program despite the extended internal approval cycle.

Challenge

A non-UV-stable jacket cracks after field exposure, and a PV connector that is not crimped on its matching contact and tool can overheat at the junction over the array's service life.

Solution

Built the strings on double-insulated UV-resistant PV wire and crimped the PV connectors on their matched contacts and OEM tooling, verifying mating and continuity before release.

Result

The harnesses held up to outdoor UV and mated cleanly to the array connectors, with crimp and continuity evidence retained per first article.
