What connector families do you stock?+
Molex (MX150, Mini-Fit, Pico-Blade, KK), JST (GH, SH, ZH, PH, XH, EH), TE Connectivity (AMP, Faston, MQS), Deutsch (DT, DTM, DTP, HD30), Amphenol (AT, RJF), Hirose (DF-series), plus M12/M8, FAKRA, LEMO and Harwin on request. Bring us a connector by part number — if it is buyable, we crimp to it.
What wire types and AWG range?+
UL 1007, UL 1015, UL 1061, UL 3266, UL 758, MIL-W-22759. AWG range 32 to 4. PVC, PE, FEP, PTFE, silicone insulation. Tin-plated, silver-plated, or bare copper conductor.
How do I choose insulation — silicone or Teflon — for temperature?+
As a rough guide: PVC handles roughly 80-105°C, silicone roughly 150-200°C, and PTFE/FEP (Teflon) up to about 200°C. Note that some FEP grades are only rated to 105°C unless the high-temp construction is specified, so we confirm it on the datasheet. On very small terminals, Teflon/FEP usually seats better than silicone — silicone's larger outer diameter and softer wall can struggle to crimp cleanly into tiny contacts.
Can you provide custom wire colors?+
Yes. Standard colors carry no minimum. A non-standard color typically requires a per-color reel minimum in the region of 200-500 m and may add a small material cost, but it usually does not move the lead time. If color-coding is purely for identification, we can also mark standard wire to avoid the reel minimum.
Can you add shielding and EMI protection?+
Yes. Options include shielded cable with foil and/or braid, an overall shield wrapped around otherwise unshielded pairs, or an added EMI shielding sleeve over the bundle. Tell us your EMC target and we'll recommend the most effective method for the run.
What strain relief, overmolding and sleeving options do you offer?+
Overmolding in PVC, TPU or TPE, including UL-recognized materials for NRTL-listed builds. Strain relief via heat-shrink (including adhesive-lined), backshells and grommets. Sleeving choices cover PVC sleeve, expandable braided sleeve, corrugated loom or conduit for abrasion, and EMI shielding sleeve where screening is needed.
Can you mark and label the harness?+
Yes. Printed labels, printed heat-shrink and wire markers per your drawing. We can print identification directly onto heat-shrink tubing and add UL-rating markings to the wire where required for compliance.
Do you handle high-voltage harnesses?+
Yes — up to 1000VDC for EV traction applications. UL 758-qualified high-voltage wire stock, orange jacket convention for HV identification, full hipot test per OEM spec.
Do you handle overmolded and waterproof cable assemblies?+
Yes. Low-pressure polyurethane overmolds and high-temp thermoplastic for IP67/IP68 connector sealing. Strain-relief overmolds for cable-to-connector transitions. Water-immersion qualification on bench before ship.
