VeinWire Interconnect Systems("VeinWire", "we", "us") operates oemcableassembly.com. This policy explains what personal data and customer-submitted technical content we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Data we collect
- Inquiry form data: name, email, company, phone, country, quantity, project brief, and uploaded files (CAD, BOM, Gerber, photos) submitted through the inquiry or contact forms.
- Site usage data: via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 — page views, referrer, country, device class. We do not store IP addresses beyond what GA4 retains by default.
- Cookies: see our Cookie Policy for the full inventory.
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to RFQs and produce quotes for cable assembly and harness work.
- To maintain order traceability records as required by IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 quality systems.
- To improve site content based on aggregate usage patterns. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
3. Customer technical drawings
Drawings, BOMs, Gerber files, and any IP-bearing documents you submit are treated as confidential under our standard NDA terms, with or without a signed agreement on file. Drawings are stored encrypted at rest on access-controlled servers. Drawing access is logged. We do not subcontract customer designs without written customer consent.
4. Retention
- Inquiry form submissions: retained 36 months for sales follow-up, then archived.
- Customer technical drawings: retained for the program lifetime plus 7 years for quality records.
- Analytics: aggregate only, retained per Google's default GA4 policy (14 months for event data).
5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
EU and California residents have the right to access, correct, port, or delete the personal data we hold on you. To exercise these rights, email sales@oemcableassembly.com. We respond within 30 days.
Note: Quality records that we are legally required to retain under ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO 13485 cannot be deleted during their mandatory retention period.
6. Data transfers
VeinWire operates engineering and manufacturing in China (Shijiazhuang) and the Philippines (Cavite), with a US sales presence in Gary, Indiana. Personal data submitted through the site may be processed in any of these locations under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Security
Site traffic uses TLS 1.3. Drawing storage uses AES-256 encryption at rest. Production ERP access is role-based and logged. Operators receive annual security training on customer IP handling.
8. Cookies and tracking
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 only after cookie consent. See our Cookie Policy for full inventory. You can opt out at any time by clearing browser localStorage for this site.
9. Updates to this policy
